We a specialised and experienced market leader based in Augsburg, Germany, where the construction of gas balloons has a long history to draw on. The Riedinger balloon factory, founded by August Riedinger in 1897, produced the first gas balloons for the military. Ballonbau Wörner GmbH was formed in Augsburg in 1986 when the balloon factory was acquired from Leonhard Stuttgart. We specialise in the production of modern sport balloons, tethered (captive) balloons, airships and gas storage balloons for industrial use. Today, we oversee gas balloon projects all over the world and occupy a leading position on the market thanks to our 30 years of experience in the design, construction and approval of gas balloons of all kinds.
